1. While filming Wonder Boys with cutie Tobey Maguire, Katie says she had a handful of No Way! moments: "I didn’t have a clue about anything! I was tripping over everything on the set!"
2. Katie may think she doesn't have a great voice, but that doesn't stop her from doing karaoke. Her Teaching Mrs. Tingle co-star Barry Watson even sang a song with her once, but he says he just stood there 'cause Katie took over the mic.
3. Ever wonder what Katie looked like back in high school? "I was very tall, gawky, and skinny," she says. Katie gawky? Hard to believe.
4. The girl knows how to keep busy! While DC's on hiatus, Katie works on movies. She'll soon appear in the thriller Phone Booth, and then another thriller Abandon, with Julia Robert's beau Benjamin Bratt, in 2002.
5. If Katie seems pretty calm on the Creek, maybe it's because in real life she's a pretty reserved person. "I don't really like confrontations, and if I get upset about something, I usually just repress it," she admits.
6. Katie's a Sagittarius (born December 18, 1978) and very interested to know what's going to happen in her future. "I'll admit that I’ve had my cards read," she says. "I read my horoscope."
7. What CD's are you likely to find in Katie's stereo? Macy Gray, Dave Matthews, and Ben Harper.
8. Just because she's a celebrity, doesn't make her perfect. Katie's biggest flaw? "I always apologize for myself," she says.
9. Last Halloween, Katie dressed up as a one-night stand: "I put cardboard on my shoulders, cut a hole out for my head, decorated it with a tablecloth, a few pictures, and a lamp. Then I put a big 1 on the tablecloth." Get it?
10. Katie may be taking more adult roles in movies like The Gift, but that doesn't mean she's ready to be a grown up just yet. She admits she still has her Barbie collection, complete with a hot dog stand, game room, pool, and of course, the Pink Corvette!
