TomKat's Toy Story

By Matt Donnelly

Katie Holmes has just ended a week-long media blitz for her new flick, "Mad Money," PageSix.com has exclusive details of how Katie's week began — with a three-hour shopping spree at FAO Schwartz.

Tom Cruise and his wife, along with daughter Suri, arrived at the iconic toy seller in NYC on Sunday evening at around 8:30 p.m., straight from JFK airport, and the store was opened after-hours specifically for the famous family.

Suri walked with children's books, collector's edition Barbies, the FAO Schwartz exclusive GIgantic World Map and a Curious George doll (which stayed planted in her hands, even as they left).

"Tom played 'Heart and Soul' and 'Chopsticks' with his feet on the giant piano," a source tells us of the visit, where Tom reenacted Tom Hanks' memorable scene from "Big."

The evening peaked with a visit to the ice cream parlor where all three grabbed cones.

FAO holds special meaning for the couple, as Tom threw Katie a surprise birthday party there two years ago when she was about pregnant with Suri. It's also a place where their celebrity pals like to indulge.

Just a week before the Cruise family day, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony stopped by during shopping hours (gasp!) and browsed action figures.

While Marc has two sons from a previous marriage, J. Lo could be stocking up for a boy or two that may arrive any day now.
