Suri Cruise, along with 15 classmates, were treated to a private preview of “Cinderella” in Los Angeles. Though there were three little boys in the group, there was no need for separate a restroom. “Not one bathroom break for anyone,” reported one observer who said Disney’s seven-minute short “Frozen Fever” got the double-feature started.

“They laughed and clapped through the movie, and shed some tears when the mom died,” we’re told. Luckily, a little magic wiped those tears away. “All of them were in hysterics when they saw the magic the fairy godmother does,” says an insider. “There were lots of laughs for Helena Bonham Carter with her fun faces and lines.”

Kenneth Branagh’s retelling of the classic fairy tale opens nationwide on March 13, starring Carter as the fairy godmother, Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine and Lily James as Cinderella. If this test audience is any indication, Disney has a hit on its hands. In true Cinderella fashion, Suri’s mom, Katie Holmes, wasn’t above doing her chores when the kids got excited. “Katie, embarrassed, asked for a broom because the kids had spilled popcorn and she wanted to clean it up,” we’re told.
